Sc&T Youth Concert - Roo Geddes And Neil Sutciffe Jazz Folk Duo

For over a decade, Roo and Neil have combined their shared experience across traditional Scottish, jazz, and classical music to create new original music for violin and accordion. Their compositions are inspired by landscape and people, and by how music can evoke a sense of place and community. Their music was selected as a winner of Fèis Rois’ ‘In Tune with Nature’ competition and they were honoured to receive the Danny Kyle Award in 2021. Their debut album Homelands has met with great critical acclaim and the duo maintain a full concert schedule with engagements across the country. They also enjoy a close relationship with charity Live Music Now, bringing dozens of performances to secluded and underprivileged communities. Concert opens with performance by the young musicians of SC&T Youth.
