NORTH EAST PIPE BAND CONCERT – ‘Dancing on the Beat’ Hosted by the BUCKSBURN and District pipe band, we are delighted to welcome – POLICE SCOTLAND FIFE PIPE BAND to the Aberdeen stage at Aberdeen Music Hall.
The 10th annual Aberdeen Pipe Band Concert has quickly emerged as the top performance event of the new UK season, and the 2025 version will see Grade 1’s rising stars, Police Scotland Fife Pipe Band combine with the hosts Bucksburn & District to mount a show, named “Dancing on the Beat 2025,” at Aberdeen Music Hall.
Police Scotland Fife’s Pipe-Major and leading drummer David Wilton and Mick O’Neill has indicated that their band is well ahead of schedule, already scoring more than two hours of new concert material, developing a new competition medley, and are excited to put on a showcase that connects music and dance for the audience. David, a former 7x World Highland Dancing Champion, has guaranteed the audience will not only get treated to great music, but will get world-class Highland Dancing too – a show for everyone. The band bolsters talented singers and multi-instrumentalists and will no doubt bring a history of Fife’s influential music to life.
“We always work on making every concert that bit different and special,” Bucksburn band manager Morven Tough said. “Our visual intros and visuals throughout the show are a big wow factor, moving back to the Music Hall in April 2024 has been a huge plus factor for the concert, attracting bigger audiences. It’s an amazing setting for the audience to enjoy the masters of a live pipe band performance.”
