Central to the lovely market town of Ellon are the historic and captivating walled Gardens of Ellon Castle. Within this superb setting and surrounded by history, fauna and flora will be a tented village comprising charming Scottish wares and refreshments.

A great opportunity to purchase something uniquely delightful or wonderfully tasty and handmade in Scotland. A chance to see and converse with our lovely craftspeople.

Come and meet our eclectic array of artisans from across Scotland, discuss their techniques, sample their wares, view their products and maybe purchase something unique.

You will be able to find textile artisans, soap and skincare experts, ceramists, bee product producers, candlemakers, home wares, artists, driftwood art along with wood turning, tweed accessories, locally made pens, children’s clothing, metal artwork & accessories. A range of jewellery covering sea glass, beaded work, silver and gemstone and copper work. All demonstrating how traditional techniques are still used today to make beautiful & contemporary items.

Our drink vendors from across Scotland will cover botanical spirits, many different flavours of gin, delightful rums, delicious single malt scotch whisky and fruit flavoured liquors. Food offerings range from a delicious variety of venison, pies, sausages and ready meals, a fabulous collection of preserves, wonderfully appealing fudge and confectionery and a totally tempting range of hand made chocolates.

Street food will be available from both Auld smokey wood fired pizzas and Seasonal Flavours – wild pheasant or chicken in brioche, venison or vegetarian burritos, homemade fries. Both vendors have a changing menu with the season. Teas, coffees and cold drinks will be from Nae Bad along with sweet scotch pancakes, savoury panini and cakes.
