Art Craft & Food at Crathes Castle
Situated on the lawns beside the Horsemill and within the Horsemill itself, we will be holding our annual Summer market, adjacent to Crathes Castle and sitting alongside their wonderful gardens. This is a beautiful scenic event for all to enjoy.
A unique opportunity arises to converse with a host of passionate artisans, discuss their goods, and see techniques both modern and traditional used to create their wares.
You’ll be able to shop from our exhibitors extensive ranges featuring delightful ceramics, beautiful giftware, gorgeous stationery, unusual metal work & glorious textiles. A fine collection of artists from across Scotland. Sterling silver, beaded and precious gem jewellery. Wax melts, candles, reed diffusers along with vegan and organic soaps and skincare to delight all and lovely children’s clothes, tweed accessories & silk scarves will also be on show.
There will be a multiple of flavoured gins from local producers along with liquors, rums, botanical spirits, whisky, Cider and the ever popular range of gins.
Take time to browse the range of delicious honeys, Belgian chocolates and tempting pickles. Sample some of the extensive ranges of fudge and tablet and take your pick from a tempting array of cakes and traybakes and beautiful macaroons. Seeking something savoury to try ? There will be fresh game in the form of sausages, pies and cuts together with a tempting array of locally made pies – beef, pork, nutty carrot and lamb to name a few.
Seasonal Flavour will be providing a full range of artisan street food with both adult and child portions, Auld smokey pizza will be offering wood fired pizzas and Nae Bad will have cakes, savoury panini, pancakes and a range of hot and cold beverages.
