Sycamore Hall is a spacious, comfortably furnished, fully equipped self catering property. One of Scotland’s historic buildings, it is the converted classroom of the former Erroll School, built by the Earl and Countess of Erroll in 1834. Category B listed, it retains many original features whilst having a modern, light, airy atmosphere.
There is a large entrance porch with a full shower room and plenty of space for outdoor equipment & clothing. The ground floor is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen including freezer & dishwasher, a dining area and comfortable lounge area where there is a double sofa bed which can be used on request (extra cost). A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor with a shower room with toilet, and two bedrooms, one of which is a twin room. The larger bedroom can be twin or a king size double with enough space for a child bed/cot. It has a unique glass feature wall using the original classroom screens. Bedding, towels and toiletries are provided.
The large garden has picnic benches with views of Slains Castle and the sea. There is a portable BBQ with equipment for your use.
Ideal for families or golfing groups. Sleeps 4/6 guests. Child bed, baby travel cot, stair gate, baby bath & high chair on request, no extra cost.

Situated half a mile south of the village of Cruden Bay on the north east coast of Scotland, the property is ideal for exploring the Castle, Coast and Whisky Trails, bird watching at Loch of Strathbeg, Forvie Nature Reserve and Bullers of Buchan, seal watching at Newburgh and golfing on one of the many famous Golf Courses within an hour's travelling distance. Outdoor pursuit enthusiasts find the location ideal.
**Please note we allow a day between stays in order to clean and sanitise the house in accordance with current regulations using recommended professional cleaning products.** A selection of Antibacterial cleaning products is supplied for guests.

This is the larger of the two bedrooms and has a feature wall of the old school screens which used to divide the two classrooms. It has two large single beds which can be changed to a king size double.Bedside tables & lamps, large wardrobe, large chest of drawers, hair drier and large mirror.
