The Tolbooth is one of the most historic buildings in the town and sucessfully blends the rustic charm of whitewashed stonewalls with unpretentious décor and a colour scheme planned to give a distinct maritime feel.
Tolbooth Seafood Restaurant provides some of the best seafood in the world, being in the harbour a great deal of their fish and seafood comes direct from local fishermen, who land it daily. The daily specials are based on what has been landed at the harbour that day. There is a wide and varied list of seafood coming in from the North Sea including halibut, sole, plaice, squid and squat lobster, not forgetting lobster, crab and langoustine and Tolbooth know from our customers that they always do it justice.
