The Old Police Station - Moray Coast Cottages
The Old Police Station, Portsoy has recently been totally renovated and finished to a high standard. It welcomed it's first guests in March 2023 and has already proved popular with some excellent reviews! As you enter from the street, you get a real wow when you see the open plan living area and kitchen, with the oak staircase leading down to the 2 bedrooms. There is a lovely view over the local park, the Wally Green, and the old railway line, now a path that leads from the town down to the old seventeenth century harbour. Unchanged and picturesque, the harbour is a popular film location, having featured in Peaky Blinders and the remake of Whisky Galore. Relax and unwind in this surprisingly spacious cottage, before heading out to explore the wonderful coastline with it's many pretty harbours and beautiful beaches. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to see the bottlenose dolphins breaching the waves, or on a dark night, the aurora borealis or Northern LIghts!
