Kashentroch is furnished to the highest of standards with large windows which flood the house with natural light. The house is heated by its own biomass heat source and fireplace in the main living area.
The house sits on the edge of the grounds of Crathes Castle which is one of the top National Trust properties in Scotland with its famous gardens and extensive nature trails. It is also on the Deeside Way which follows the picturesque River Dee and is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists.
The town of Banchory provides a range of local amenities with two supermarkets and a High Street with shops, restaurants and cafes. Milton of Crathes is just a short walk along the Deeside Way. This hidden gem in Royal Deeside sits on the banks of the River Dee and is home to independent shops, an art gallery and brasserie.
The area is popular with visitors who enjoy outdoor pursuits including hill walking, mountain biking, horse riding, golf and fishing. With Scotland’s Castle Trail and distilleries on the doorstep, Aberdeenshire offers something for everyone.
