Smoke and Soul at The Old Smiddy
Smoke and Soul are an award winning BBQ comfort food and drinks business, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Old Smiddy at Murcar, Bridge of Don, is the team's Smokehouse, Cafe and events space. Join us for BBQ comfort food, coffees and cakes through the week or attend one of our many events hosted by the team throughout the year - such as Texas BBQ themed dining experiences, seasonal celebrations and pub quiz nights.
The menus are focused on showcasing quality assured Scottish meats and high quality ingredients, served as hearty comfort food. The venue is family friendly and dogs are welcome at all Smoke and Soul venues.
The team are outside event and wedding caterers and have a second venue, open evenings and weekends called 'The Firepit' - a casual BBQ and craft beer bar in Aberdeen's city centre; around the corner from Marischal College.
