The Forbes Arms Hotel
The Forbes Arms Hotel is situated in the idyllic countryside location at the Bridge of Alford on the banks of the River Don. All seven bedrooms have been renovated to the highest standard. Our hotel boasts a new dining experience, riverside restaurant and outdoor garden terrace area overlooking the River Don and William Minto’s segmental granite arched bridge, built in 1811. The original Public Bar retains the historic character, open daily with our bar menu served from 12 pm - 8 pm. Traditional Afternoon Tea is served in the Lounge Bar from 12 pm - 3 pm Monday to Saturday, booking is essential. We are open daily from 10:30 am for home bakes, teas and coffees.
