Lunchtime Talk: The Inuit Discovery of Scotland?

This lecture will introduce the Inuit collections in the University Museums, some of which are on display in ‘Sea Change’.

Perhaps the most well-known object in the collection is a kayak that reached Aberdeenshire in the early 18th century. This talk will explore how it got here and what it says about contact between North America and Scotland.

Talk by: Neil Curtis, Head of Museums, University of Aberdeen
