FOCUS Craft Fair
We run a comprehensive programme of craft fairs at venues in Aberdeenshire between April and December, including the Banchory Show and Aboyne Games, and because we do not set out to make a profit, we are able to keep costs to a minimum and offer our members tables at affordable prices. In addition to giving members the best deal possible, FOCUS advertises extensively via posters, social media and the press. Members have access to free advertising on this website and are covered by our own Public Liability insurance at all events.
FOCUS has always supported local charities. Over the years we have supported RNLI, Grampian Society for the Blind, Kidney Dialysis, Macmillan Nurses, and Christian Aid. We currently support Shopmobility Aberdeen. FOCUS is always interested in inquiries about membership from genuine craft workers. We do not permit retailing ( i.e. buying in goods and selling them on) as this is contrary to our constitution (and the Trades Description Act). We are a friendly group and run our own very popular social night once a year for members and guests. Please do not confuse FOCUS with other organisations advertising “craft” themed events. Table prices at these are far more expensive as they are businesses run to make a profit for their organisers, whereas FOCUS is run for the benefit of its members.
