Exhibition of 17th and 18th century maps of Monymusk Estate

An exhibition of unique local maps which show how our landscape has changed through time.
These maps show how Monymusk Estate led the Scottish Agricultural revolution of the 18th Century through innovation and enclosure.
If you think you know the local landscape, come along and see the story behind it.
Also on display is a copy of the first ‘A to Z’ of London from 1746. No other copy is freely on display to the public.
See how London has grown and discover the connection to Monymusk.
(closed on Monday and Tuesday)

Monymusk Arts Centre is open again with a wide range of locally made crafts including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, photography, stained glass, wood turning, food, paper crafts and mosaics. A crafter will be in residence most days and whether you are looking for something useful or pretty, a gift or a memento of your visit, the crafters display a wealth of talent and inspiration in our beautiful little Georgian building in this ancient and historic Aberdeenshire village.
