Explore centuries of history in the heart of Old Aberdeen. Founded in 580AD by an Irish priest it grew to be a Cathedral in 1130 and since then has overcome many challenges. Today it is a thriving church and one of Aberdeen's most popular tourist attractions.
This free session encourages children and adults of all ages to explore its history, atmosphere and beautiful artworks. Take part in autumn crafts, tours, dressing up, hear the cathedral organ, shield trails and delve deeper with our interactive screen. Thursday extras include bell ringing, try the cathedral organ and ancient charters on display.
