Songwriting Sessions at Aberdeen Arts Centre
We are excited to be starting a new monthly group at Aberdeen Arts Centre. AAC Songwriter Sessions will be a group for local talent to thrive. We want to create a space for trying things out, listening to others, learning from experience and building up to performances.
The group will meet once a month and will be acoustic - no mics, no amps, just voices, instruments and enthusiasm. The sessions will run like workshops, allowing everyone to learn from each other, share new work, get supportive feedback to build confidence and skill. This will be a safe space with half the focus on learning and half the focus on performing. The group will encourage the next generation of singer-songwriters and showcase the very best non-professional talent.
Your home will be our Café Bar, a space for learning and performing. Dave Bremner will be leading the group and sharing his years of experience to build a group that is dynamic, supportive and creates opportunities.
The first session will be Monday 14th October 7pm – 9pm. Our first session will be free. Sessions after that will be Pay What You Decide.
Anyone aged 16 and above who is looking for a space to learn and share is welcome to join. This is a space for local amateur talent to thrive and grow.
