HIVE+ : Exploring Land Art
P5 - P7 5.15pm - 6.15pm
HIVE - Creative Kids Workshops at the Barn, where each week a professional tutor will offer a fun arts experience to learn new skills, nurture creativity, grow confidence and stir your imagination.
Spring is arriving and with it, an abundance of leaves, flowers and a variety of natural forms which will give us inspiration to be creative using natural objects. In this series of playful nature-based workshops, the children will explore various ways that land art can be used to create artwork through temporary patterns, alternative paintbrushes, rubbings and weaving.
Lucy Brydon is an illustrator and visual artist who has previously worked for over 15 years in schools as a visiting art specialist across a range of media and subject matters. She is heavily inspired by the natural world and the flora and fauna of Scotland and is looking forward to sharing this love with the Barn HIVE participants.
