Nick Fyfe is the Founding Director of the Scottish Institute for Policing Research, a partnership between Scotland’s universities, Police Scotland and the Scottish Police Authority; he has authored or edited eight books on policing; and was the recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award from the George Mason University in Washington DC ‘for outstanding contributions in advancing criminal justice policy and practice through research’.
