Week 3 – Natural Colours
You may have heard the phrase ‘having an eye for colour’, but developing this skill is something that we can all learn. In this ‘Third Stage’ Arts block we’ll explore a whole world of colour – taking you on a playful journey through different colour exercises, building your awareness of the colours that we find all around us and exploring how to use colour creatively.
This week we will explore natural dyes – Fiona will demonstrate how to prepare a dye bath using foraged materials. We will then explore Dye techniques (e.g. dip dye / tie dye / shibori.) Exploring natural colour modifiers.
There is a sliding scale ticket price for this event of £3 - £8. Please choose what you feel applies to you :
£3 - I find it difficult to meet everyday costs.
£5 - I can meet everyday costs.
£8 - I can comfortably meet my everyday costs.
