Dunecht Dash
The “Dunecht Dash" 2k Fun Run and 5k Road Race takes place at AB32 7DD near Aberdeen on 7th May 2017. It is run by the Dunecht School Parent Council and comprises of two events: The 2km Fun Run is open to children, and adults running with children. Since this short distance is within the capability of most, it presents a great opportunity for families to engage in an active lifestyle. The 5km Race is open to individuals aged 13 and over, but there is also a corporate section in which Team entries compete for the SPEX Cup, provided by the event’s main sponsor. With the kind permission of Dunecht Estates and Dunecht House, both runs are held within the beautiful grounds surrounding Dunecht House, on mainly private, tarmac roads. Commemorative medal for all finishers and class prizes.
