Build and Program Lego Wedo Robots

For children aged 7-11 years.  Registration covers all four sessions.

During these very hands-on sessions, we will learn to build and program a Lego Wedo robot that explores an everyday vehicle such as a train, forklift, road sweeper, garbage truck and crane. We will learn about how these are used and how they help us.

We will also explore engineering design and use this to assess mechanisms within our robots such as the use of gears and pulleys. Sensors will also be explored and used to make our robots respond to us! Furthermore, creativity will be exercised as we customise our robots and share with the group.

This is a fantastic opportunity for children to step into coding in the most awesome way - coding robots! With the integration of the science of sensors, coding, engineering, everyday machines and creativity, this is truly a STEAM (science technology engineering art math) experience.

Dates: Weekly from 3:00pm - 4:00pm, 22nd April to 13th May 2018.

Registration covers all four sessions.
