AYMT-Half A Sixpence

Arthur Kipps is an orphan who lives and works in a drapers shop. Kipps has a childhood sweatheart called Ann, and they each have half of a sixpence as a reminder of their feelings for each other. However, Kipps life is turned upside down when he inherits money. He tries to become part of high society falling for Helen Walsingham (his woodwork teacher) but when he proposes to her and is pressured by her family, he realises Ann is his first and real love and that love is more important than money.

This loveable musical with memorable songs such as “Money to Burn”, “Flash, Bang, Wallop” and “Half A Sixpence” is a toe-tapping show for all the family.
