AYMT-Disney High School Musical
Troy and Gabriella meet on a ski-ing holiday and become attracted to each other while singing in a karaoke competition. Returning back on his first day at East High School, Troy who is the basketball team captain and most popular boy at school, discovers that Gabriella has just joined East High. Their friendship is renewed and when they decide to audition for the school show, many fellow students resent the threat posed especially current leading lady, Sharpay. However, they find a way to be themselves and as a result are given the lead roles in the show, opening the door for others to shine. Full of catchy numbers such as “Start of Something New”, “Wildcat Cheer” and “What I’ve Been Looking for”, this musical certainly has that “feel good” factor.
