Intelligence, elegance and good looks, us bottlenose dolphins have it all.

Watch us from Torry Battery car park, Aberdeen where you can get fantastic views of us feeding at the harbour mouth. You may also see some of our other cetacean kin; harbour porpoises, minke whales and maybe even a humpback whale!

Sharing the harbour with us are also grey seals along with a host of birds; redshank, oystercatchers, eider duck, cormorant, shag, sandwich tern, gulls, goldfinch, linnet, skylark and swallows.

When can you see us?

Staff and volunteers will be onsite every Thursday to Sunday, 11am to 6pm from 6th April until 20 August. They will provide information, binoculars and various drop-in activities for families. Keep an eye out for special additional events such as guided walks, rockpool rambles and beach cleans and please call ahead if making a special journey as Dolphinwatch does not operate in bad weather.

What should I bring?

Waterproof and warm clothing.
