Bennachie - Forestry Commission Scotland
Bennachie has something for everyone - gentle forest trails, or more energetic hill paths, picnic spots and superb views.
You can see Jays and hear Cuckoos, pick Blaeberries and relax to the gentle buzzing of Bumblebees.
Watch for Red Squirrels and Roe Deer in the woods and Red Grouse higher up on the hill.
There are so many stories about Bennachie, go to the visitor centre to discover them all. The Bennachie Centre is run by Aberdeenshire Council, please see their website for details - www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/rangerservice/Bennachie.asp
