Aberdeen can be easily explored by most modes of transport with public buses operating throughout the area, railway stations dotted across the region and car hires readily available if you are travelling from out with the city. 

Foot

The Granite City is profoundly known for it's ability to be explored on footAberdeen is best explored by foot as key attractions are all within close proximity and this means you can get around quickly and explore more! 

Cycling 

Cycling is another common mode of transport across the city, with a number of cycling routes and maps available for locals and visitors which have been provided by Aberdeen City Council or Aberdeen Cycle Forum (a voluntary group encouraging and developing cycling). Public Transport 

Regular public bus services operate throughout the city every day. First Group, an international rail and bus company with its headquarters in Aberdeen, operate a high frequency network of 23 services across the city, making it easier than ever to get to where you want to go.

Private Transport

With the overall aim of dramatically reducing health risks by improving air quality, a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) will be enforced in Aberdeen city centre from 1 June 2024.
