Whisky Week arrives to Aberdeen
12 August 2024
Get ready… Whisky Week has arrived
Arriving to Aberdeen from September 5-15 and set to be a grand hit within the region, is Scotland’s new debut whisky festival, Whisky Week.
The festival's purpose is to celebrate the well-established and admired whisky industry that exists throughout the region, with a particular focus on the existing and upcoming whisky distilleries that contribute to the vibrant nightlife in Aberdeen.
The masters behind it all
The brand-new festival has been carefully curated from the stellar knowledge and expertise of Charlie Bain, recognised whisky specialist and entrepreneur of the whisky merchandising firm Slanjj and Gregor Sey, the mastermind entrepreneur behind Aberdeen’s cherished Cocktail Week.
Bain and Sey envision Whisky Week as delivering a distinctive experience for visitors, where each venue involved will partner with a whisky distillery to create an immersive city-wide distillery tour, allowing visitors to be informed and taste a variety of different whisky's, whilst exploring what Aberdeen’s bar scene has to offer.
