The Staysure PGA Seniors Championship is gearing up to welcome some of the game’s biggest names to the highly acclaimed, Trump International Golf Links in Balmedie.
From August 23-27, former Ryder Cup heroes and major winners are set to collide on the breathtaking coast of the North-east but can Brazilian, Adilson Da silva who clinched the title last year with a wire-to-wire victory defend his title in 2023?
A bit about the tournament
The Staysure PGA Seniors Championship is regarded as the Legends Tour’s flagship tournament. This year’s showpiece will feature a stellar line-up of champions, headlined with the likes of Jose Maria Olazabal, Shaun Micheel, Tom Lehman, Fred Funk, Paul Lawrie, Michael Campbell and many more.

What is on during the championship?
Off the course, the tournament is being positioned as a festival of golf, with plenty of activities in the tented village appealing to a wide range of fans.
Activities include professional coaches in the ‘Legends Golf Zone’ for both younger and older players looking to get into golf, Staysure’s virtual zone with a state-of-the-art golfing simulator and a 10-metre putting challenge for golfers of all abilities with fantastic prizes to be won.
On Wednesday, 23, The Wapp Celebrity Series sees the professionals taking on celebrities. The renowned stars include actor, James Nesbitt, former rugby union player, Mike Tindall, MBE, Olympic curling gold medallist, Eve Muirhead, seven-time world snooker champion, Stephen Hendry, former Manchester United and Scotland footballer, Gordon Strachan, and award-winning journalist and broadcaster, Dan Walker.
With an array of events, visitors will be spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment.

Tickets and booking information
General tickets are now on sale for the event, with day tickets priced at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions (over 50s), while juniors (under 16s) are free.
