Let the Little Ones GoApe!

Kids driving you ape this summer?

When we found out that GoApe were putting in a mobile mini course for the little ones, we were dying to have a go!  Unfortunately as no-one in the office is under 10 (though we are over one meter in height), we had to look to Mya for some help!

She certainly seemed like she enjoyed it! So we caught up with her mum to find out more:

What do you look for when planning family activities?

“I look for things that are safe, friendly & fun.  It’s always important to look-out for something new and a bit different that can challenge the kids.

The people that were working there were very friendly and helpful! As they were putting on the harness, I felt reassured that they knew what they were doing and that everything was safe.”

Did GoApe meet your expectations?

“It was really easy to get there.  The staff explained well to Mya what she had to do going round the course.  It was a great new adventure for Mya having done nothing like this before and she got to go round the course twice.  She enjoyed every part of it, it’s just a shame it wasn’t a bit bigger.”

What did Mya think when you told her she’d be going to GoApe?

“She was really excited about going and when she saw it she couldn't wait to get started. Even our 2 year old daughter wanted to go on but she wasn't quite tall enough!”

What did your family enjoy the most?

“Mya was excited by the whole experience even having the harness & helmet on! She particularly liked the 'x' shaped platforms that wobbled!  I would say the children would definitely need to be a meter tall (under 6years have to be accompanied by an adult so Mya's dad was on too!)
However I would say that it seemed a bit on the small side for children of 10 years old.”
