New to the region, Aberdeen is gearing up for an extraordinary weekend as the very first Granite City Festival Weekender takes over Hazelhead Park for three days of music, entertainment, and family fun. The summer festival will deliver a unique line-up catering to fans of house and techno, dance music, and family-friendly activities, meaning nobody misses out! Located near Aberdeen City, enjoy a morning spent by the sea before letting loose to the ultimate summer party.  

A spectacular, yet emotional immersive attraction which brings the works of Vincent Van Gogh to life is coming to Aberdeen’s very own P&J Live in July. For a whole month, witness over 300 of his iconic paintings with revolutionary technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack to tell the story of one of history’s most influential artists. The Tall Ships Races is the largest free family event in Europe and returns to Aberdeen after 28 years, expecting to draw 400,000 visits and 50 Tall Ships from across the globe. With more than 1,500 sailors joining the international crew parade the next day, expect live music, dance, theatre and fireworks! Throughout the festival, visitors can board the magnificent Tall Ships and enjoy free family entertainment. Based in the heart of the Granite City, make the most of your time at the Port of Aberdeen by exploring a range of local food vendors and retailers on Shiprow Village and Union Street.
