Meet Rachel.
Rachel is one of VisitAberdeenshire’s Tourism Development Executives, supporting the planning and delivery of the Industry Development Programme with a focus on accessibility, digital marketing, and customer insights.
Rachel graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with BA Tourism Management and Entrepreneurship and has over 10 years' experience working in the tourism industry. Specialising in travel trade partnerships, Rachel has worked with the National Trust for Scotland and more recently, Rabbie’s Tours.
Here’s three things you might not know about Rachel:
- Some of Rachel’s favourite things to see and do in the region include tranquil walks through historic woodlands with her Border Collie, sampling whiskies to find her new favourite and pointing out every farm animal she sees during road trips
- Her favourite part of her job is working alongside the creative and diverse tourism businesses in the region
- Rachel loves to draw and takes inspiration from local wildlife
