True North 2017

Aberdeen Performing Arts presents True North – Aberdeen’s festival of music and song – celebrating the North-east's singer songwriter tradition and providing a platform for the very best music and song, from ballads to contemporary classics. This year's True North will take place in September and promises to be bigger and better featuring gigs with a host of top names, upcoming talent along with panel discussions and workshops.

The 2017 festival is set to feature top performances from Pictish Trail, Public Service Broadcasting, Wild Beasts and more.

Previous True North’s have had concerts from the likes of Laura Mvula, Richard Hawley, Tom Odell, Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat, Honeyblood and King Creosote along with a special celebration night to a legendary act proving to be a particular highlight each year. With the line-up set to be announced, True North should be on everyone’s calendar and a festival not to be missed.

Performances at His Majesty's Theatre, The Lemon Tree, and The Tivoli Theatre.

Tickets can be purchased via the Aberdeen Performing Arts box office.
