Afterlands (Lost Map)
Afterlands is the union in song of David McAulay (Strike The Colours) and Rick 'Redbeard' Anthony (The Phantom Band). The collaboration was born as way of staving off madness during lockdown and patiently nurtured into easily one of the most exciting projects either have turned their hands to. Debut single 'I Woke To The Sound Of The Wind' is streaming now.
Jill Lorean (solo)
Jill returns for another IMP show and we expect a wondrous solo set. Every musical exploration from Sparrow & The Workshop, Bdy_Prts and a multitude of collaborations have all been 5star as far as we are concerned. Her debut album This Rock, a record Jill describes as, a musing on nature, relationships, love, grief, motherhood and memory It became Monorail's album of the month. Jill Lorean's live shows are an intoxicating mix of musical influences from hard indie to blues and traditional with her superb vocals to the fore.
Rick Redbeard (solo)
Rick Redbeard needs very little introduction as he's played IMP solo support for Kathryn Joseph's second album launch as well as two Phantom Band IMP shows. His new songs are deeply rooted in the NE. His opening set for Nina Nastasia last year was really special. Like a fine wine, Rick is improving with age.
